3D model description

Set of 1/35 ww2 Luftwaffe barrels.
Based on measurements of actual barrels. WW2 period German barrels were not standardized, therefore, there barrels differ not only from manufacturer to manufacturer, but also between batches of same manufacturers. Differences include overal dimensions, flange shape, roll ring design and so on.
Includes:
3 different type 200L barrels
50L Luftwaffe barrel
Additional barrel lids for most barrel designs
Selection of barrel fill caps.
Supported files included for all parts

Wehrmacht barrels are not included in this set.

3D printing settings

Print @20 to 25 micron steps. Position at angle to the build plate (at least 20 deg). If using auto-supports, use small at 90% density or higher. Support settings small, contact shape - none, contact depth - 0.1, contact diameter 0.15-0.18. Dont forget to add supports to handles, brackets etc (look at pictures of printed model).
Calibrate printer well! Else way, roll rings might appear "short" when mounting on the barrel. Scraping support remains with blade, plus needle file around ring seat on the barrel solves the problem, but proper settings make things easier and faster!
Print similar parts in batches. For best results, print barrel tubes, roll rings, and lids in separate sessions. This will ensure best surface quality, plus shortest time to print army of barrels!
