3D model description

A 3d sculpture of a human shaped creature coming out of the wall.

1) Print all the parts (4 pieces of the background board, 2 hands, 1 face and the 4 joints for the board)
2) Use superglue to glue the background board together
3) Glue the joints to the background board slots to add stability
4) Glue the face and the hands to the corresponding slots (Use epoxy for the hands to secure them. For the face super glue will do just fine).
5) Optionally to create the effect I achieved in the pictures, mix clear resin with whatever color you like and pour it between the face and the hands. This will add stability to the whole structure and hide the seems of the board. It also makes the whole print look way cooler, as the human shaped creature rises from a liquid.

Note 1. - I used approximately 400 ml of resin.
Note 2. - Make sure you seal the gaps before pouring the resin AND also use tape on every crack in order to avoid spillage. You can use a thin layer of silicone or a filler to fill those gaps.

If you don't want to print the board, you can also print only the face and the hands and glue them wherever you want.

3D printing settings

No supports needed for the prints.

I suggest resolution - layer height of 0.2 or less.

Prints shown in the pictures are 0.2 layer height and 0.6 nozzle diameter.

I used red matt and black matt PLA.

Make sure you use at least 3 walls for the hands in order to add strength to the fingers. I printed them with 3 wall passes and they are pretty strong.
