I am very happy to see that you are beginning to offer your ancient line in now more suitable for printing in 28mm and possibly larger scales too, like the popular 40mm. I hope you will consider though to make these a bit more accurate for the wars against Carthage and Greece as the Romans are described by the ancient historian Polybius. The main mistake here is that your Hastati all have the smaller, flat oval shield used by the Roman Cavalry and Velites, and NOT the much larger, oval scutum with curved sides to better protect the soldier. Even an original of this shield was excavated in Egypt and you can see photos of you Google "Fayum Scutum", or see a full size reconstruction in my Roman book which was also printed in French! Polybius said that the Hastati and Princeps were armored with at least a square chest plate and ONE greave on the leading leg (though richer soldiers might have two greaves and a mail shirt like the Triari. Nearly all of your Hastati but the centurion have no chest armor, but two greaves instead of one. When you make the Triari set for 28mm, I hope you also change the helmet. They seem to be wearing Greek style Corinthian helmet instead of the Italo Corinthian helmet that could not be pulled down to look through the eye holes, but instead, could only be worn on top of the head and had cheek pieces. (see attached photos) . I would be happy to assist you in making your ancient line as authentic as possible as it has great potential.
