3D model description

This is 1:1 scale model of Colt Detective .38 Special revolver, used as a mold for leather holster making, but you can use it however you want to. There are two versions, with the trigger guard part completely filled and one with a trigger.

Model is separated in few parts - left and right frame sides and alignment blocks - for easier printing and assembly. After all the parts are printed, insert the alignment blocks and glue two sides together and revolver/mold assembly is finished.

3D printing settings

Model was printed in PLA+, it can also be printed in PETG.

Printed it at 0.2 layer height with adaptive layers, 0.45 layer width, with 4 or 5 walls, 5 top and bottom layers, and 30% grid or 20% gyroid infill.

There are gcode & 3mf files with my settings for printing (for PLA), and they work great (for me, at least), you can print and group files however you want, most are oriented in the optimal way for printing.
