3D model description

Today I'm happy to present to you my Rhino Head Mount, Firstly yes, The head moves and has a easy to print mechanism that is both durable and scalable - The Rhino Head was modelled from the ground up with a very angular focus and you can see that I've had some fun with the eyes and other planer areas, Creating points and other sharp geometry to give a very striking feeling. There was also an added benefit that quite literally shone through during the print photography which was how the Rhino head would react to light, Catching rays that where parallel to the wall and bouncing this light onto the surface. The head has a mobility range of roughly 15 degrees with the design allowing for non rigid posing (Although no smoke or floating purple cube I'm afraid) Everything is print in place so with one quick twist of the head upon print completion, Your rhino will be good to go!

I hope you all enjoy the print and if you want more of my finished projects featuring articulating parts and useful mechanisms, Follow my store as more will follow!

3D printing settings

1.2mm layer height was what I used and can allow you to print a much smaller functional mount, However this is all personal preference.

I would keep the scale above 50-60-50mm range to retain the inner ball mechanisms support structure, Anything bellow this requires a layer height of below 0.12mm.

Print with supports and with the rhino upright as if it was mounted on a wall.
