3D model description

I am a big fan of ultra thin phone cases, but iPhone's protruding camera invites dirt and possible scratches when you lay it down on a flat surface. This is, unless you create the saving dimple!

  • Print Dimpler
  • Decide where on the case you want the dimple. The Apple logo is a good location.
  • Stick strips of tape (Scotch Magic tape works) on and around the dimple area on the. This will buffer the heat and prevent sooting inside of the case
  • Mark the dimple location on the tape
  • Using a lighter, evenly warm the inside of the case over the tape for 3 seconds.
  • Immediately position the Dimpler over the marked spot and press! - Make sure the dimple is facing outside the case
  • Hold for 10 seconds.
