3D model description

This is a mechanical design for stacking cups.

I designed the stacker to print quickly, with little material, and to be able to "snap" the pieces securely together by hand, and to show off the mechanical arms feature in an aesthetic way.

The snap assembly is accomplished by the filleted edges between the pieces with plenty of tolerance wiggle room for each piece. It has been thoroughly tested so it's easy to assemble even if you have elephants foot issues from your print bed.

For full assembly you'll need 6 arms, 3 pins, top and bottom plates.

I intend on updating this package based on suggestions/needs of others.

Story:

My partner requested I print a cup stacker. On Amazon I found stacker but they were selling for $4.17 a piece. Said partner will likely read this so let's just say my lovely, quirky partner is an avid connoisseur of cups, and at $4.17 a pop this would effectively bankrupt me.

I then turned to the internet, where there are no new ideas and some other cup collecting cultist's partner could conflate our plight and save my bank account! As it turns out, there is! That designer is Winford.

Despite the existence of Winford's wonderful work I decided to direct my ADH-Drive (patent pending) to CAD and thus the "Cup Stacker 5000" was born.
