3D model description

Here is a 8020 simrig keyboard mount that swivels out of place if required. It will require mounting hardware bolts and a piece of 4040 aluminium extrusion to bolt into the mount and hold the keyboard. It has been designed to print on a 220mm size 3D printer. I had some 4040 aluminium laying around so I designed these keyboard mounts to make use of what I had and to also keep with the rest of the theme of the Sim Rig. It has been designed to fit a Corsair K100 keyboard but I have tried other keyboardsa and they also work well. Can be mounted on the RHS or LHS

Hardware required:

5 X M8 x 16mm Capscrews
5 X M8 T-Slot Nuts
1 X M8 x 10mm Capscrew
2 X M8 x 40mm Capscrews or 2 x M8 x50mm bolts (For hinge pivot)
2 X M8 nuts
2 X M8 large washers (optional)
1 X 4040 Aluminium extrusion 460mm long or however long your keyboard is.

3D printing settings

Hinge Pieces (Part 1 & 2) should be printedd at 30-40% infill for strength.
Keyboard mount holders can be printed at 10-20% infill
Supports required - Yes, minimal for the bolt holes and Part 1 hinge slot guide. Everthing can be printed flat and will fit on an Ender 3 type printer
