3D model description

World's simplest 3D scanner.

Just take two photos of the object (a little to the left and a little to the right), upload photos to the program, and get the STL

Please watch these short videos: https://youtu.be/YWoAQA7Th8E
https://youtu.be/3iZ5rNEq2cY

Application is for Windows (Windows 7, 8, 10, 11). If you have MacOS or Linux, you can use the additional program WineHQ to work with this program.

Before you buy the program, please make sure that the objects you need can be scanned in principle. This is a fantastic program, but often a stereo pair may not contain the information to build a quality 3d object. To better understand the capabilities of the program, please take a look to this brief illustrated manual (in PDF).

For 7 euros you get the app itself (4 euros) and a permanent license (3 euros), thanks to which you can use any number of files generated by the app in any way (private use and commercial sale of original and modified STL and prints from them)

My software scanner allows to do eight fantastic things that are impossible with laser 3d scanners:
1) Capture 3d objects from games and movies (just get photo left and photo right).
2) Processing is entirely local. You can create intimate or confidential 3D models. You are not dependent on an external service that may disappear in a month. Once you get the program, you can use it decades from now. The program does not use the Internet.
3) Get a colored 3D object. In addition to the STL file, the program creates OBJ and MTL files. If you drag both OBJ+MTL to a viewer ( https://3dviewer.net/ ), then you will see a colored object
4) Scan distant objects: mountains, landscapes, planets, nebulae
5) Superimpose an additional microrelief (obtained from the colors of the photo) on the main relief of the 3D object. Then you don't have to color the print.
6) The program automatically creates STL suitable for 3D printing (a 3D object separated from the plane, a symmetrical 3D object, a bas-relief)
7) This scanner is always with you (smartphone camera)
8) This scanner is extremely simple.

PLEASE NOTE: your first scans may be bad. It's all right
PLEASE NOTE: you need to understand the principle of scanning. You need to follow the instructions
PLEASE NOTE: problems with this scanning method:
- you will be able to scan only the front and partially side parts of the object (only what is visible in the photo)
- shiny, transparent, single-color objects cannot be scanned. But, such objects can be pre-textured: painted chaotically or pasted over with ribbons with patterns
PLEASE NOTE: as with scanning with laser scanners, artifacts of the object (peaks, pits) can be obtained. They can be removed in the CAD program.

But after a little practice, you will get a wonderful tool for creating 3D models.

You can try to process these photos (here are 4 pairs of photos that are shown in the video). If you take the same photos, you will also get high-quality 3d models

Scanning instructions:
- when taking two photos, the smartphone must be moved in its plane (without changing the angles of the smartphone)
- the distance between two shooting points (left and right) should be approximately 10-20 times less than the distance to the object
- the object to be scanned must be variegated/motley. The background on which the object is scanned should be variegated/motley
- scanning principle: the program searches for the displacement of small image fragments in one photo relative to another. And builds a depth map

Please email me directly posmetyen@yahoo.com if you have any problems with scanning

You can use the resulting scans in your designs.
The license for this program is such that you can use the resulting scans in any way: modify 3D models, sell modified 3D models, sell prints.

Amazing STL Creator 9: 3D Scanner

By downloading you get the program Amazing STL Creator 9.exe
Please note, you download not a printable STL but a program to generate them!

More than 1400 people have already successfully used the programs of the "Amazing STL Creator" series.

Please note, the operating system can warn you if you are opening a program from an unregistered publisher. This is a normal situation, it is difficult for an individual author to get into the register of publishers. Therefore, I guarantee with my reputation that the program is safe for your computer, and the only thing it does is write the files (STL, OBJ, MTL) to disk.

Rendering time 1-10 minutes. STL size is 6-20 MB.
