3D model description

I wanted a fidget spinner cap that I could swap out and/or not have to glue. This was a perfect fit and works great. I made the stop points on the bearing large enough to hopefully fit any fidget spinner that uses a 608 Ball Bearing.

Feel free to rework or use as needed.

UPDATE:
Created a V2 model that has a the gap between the bearing and the cap a bit smaller; just in case its too big for some people. Also including the Fusion 360 file for anyone who wants to edit the model for themselves.

UPDATE V2 (May, 5th 2017)
Post Production: After having a few discussions with a couple of people trying to print these STL files, I realized I forgot to mention that you may have to adjust your printers retraction settings to ensure that there are no little pieces of unwanted plastic on the threads (which will prevent the parts to mate properly). Or, what can be done is a little sanding on the male threads with scotch brite to make sure they mate.

I've printed a few extras to make sure the files were good and I did get a couple pairs that had to be worked on before they threaded together correctly. The threads are very small, so make sure to print them at .100mm or better to ensure a good thread. If you increase the size of the file, the pitch diameter will be incorrect and not thread properly (so avoid increasing the model).

They may not look it, but the model, due to the threads, are a bit complicated and you will want to make sure your printers settings are on point. Feel free to comment if you guys have any further issues and I will be sure to try and help as best as I can.

UPDATE V3:
Alright! I have a new update for everyone. Even after a few minor tweaks to the last update, things still caused people some major issues with the threads. So, this time, I completely redesigned the caps in order to have thicker threads; making it much easier to print on FDM style printers. You will still want to keep the resolution/layer height to .100mm (100 microns) max in order to have a nice, clean thread. I have also included the .step file, so if anyone has any further issues and wishes to try to fix or remix the STL files; feel free to do so.

I so glad to see so many people have downloaded my model and hope you guys keep on enjoying my design. Happy Printing and keep those Fidgets a Spinning!
