3D model description

Traditionally, Soccer Balls (football) were made with a combination of hexagonal and pentagonal panels as they fit together like a puzzle to form a perfectly spherical shape which is why the hexagons and pentagons are equally important. But when we print football in a FDM 3D printer then printing it is a very complicated task. After a lot of effort, I have made such an object which is printed with extra support. and prints great. I have used Prusa Slicer for slicing this Soccer Ball object and set some best settings for very good printing results. Pentagon Body and also Pentagon Keychain Hook Body not need to support.

FDM Printing using Prusa Slicer

  • Print Setting: 0.20mm (Normal)
  • Filament: PLA, PLA+, ABS
  • Supports: Everywhere (with Paint-on supports as mentioned body faces in document)
  • Infill: 25%
