3D model description

The fence "PO-2" is made in the form of a reinforced concrete frame with a reinforced mesh, which is built into a concrete slab. The relief pattern in the form of "diamonds" on the fence appeared in order to make the surface of the fences less monotonous. The bottom fasteners of the fence are installed in a concrete base, which is made separately.

The design of the fence was developed in the 1970s by Boris Lakhman, the chief architect of the Mosgorstroymaterialy design and technical bureau. In production, the plate was finalized: a border was added, the dimensions were changed.
The slab was originally used to protect areas where construction is underway, as well as military units - objects that need to be hidden from people's eyes. Over time, fences "PO-2" began to enclose any objects, access to which needs to be limited. In addition to the security function, the fence also solved the problem of soundproofing. Over time, solid fences, due to low aesthetics, began to be banned in the center of large cities.
