3D model description

UP! Mini Fan Mod for PLA

I had some difficulties printing PLA with my Up! Mini.

I've already printed some other fan mods I've found on thingiverse but I wasn't satisfied with them. So I designed my own fan holder.

The fan holder fits the original "Extruder Cable Box V12.UP3".

As you can see in the pictures, the fan is located off-center so it blows some air directly to the bearing as well as on the 35x35x10mm heatsink.
After the air passed the heatsink it gets directed to the back of the stepper motor. You can put some heatsinks on the back of the motor as well for additional cooling.

Parts I've used:
- Fan holder
- 40x40x10mm 12V 3-pin fan
- 2x M3x16 screw
- 2x M3 nut
- 35x35x10mm heatsink
