This new completely rebuilt terrain kit for 32mm war gaming is fully modular. It was carefully designed to be compatible with the modular terrain made by an evil company which we shall not name here. Every piece is interchangeable with the kits made by said company.
Included are a variety of wall, window, floor, column, arch, and decoration pieces you can combine in infinite ways to quickly assemble the far future gothic shrine city of your dreams.
I've included a sample building in 3MF format, feel free to print that building if you like. I've also included a highly textured sphere for use in making your own battle damaged building pieces, if you want to further customize your terrain. Simply use the sphere in various scales and positions to cut away parts of the terrain pieces, making it easy to add bullet holes, shell holes, collapsed sections, etc.
I also included a piece for the interior of the columns, which are hollow, to allow you to make broken off versions of each column and quickly add a realistic interior. Simply combine the interior piece with your custom cut broken column, and print.
The wall and floor sections are designed to be easily supported and printed in batches, standing straight up on the print bed.
UPDATE v4.1: I fixed a number of issues with the print files. columns should now print without warping, and I got rid of the spikes on various pieces that were too fragile to survive printing/painting. Also fixed was the issue with the skull and wings motif on some wall sections, which were not printing correctly.
UPDATE V5: Corrected some tolerance issues with floors and columns. redesigned ceiling tiles to be easier to print. Redesigned all wall sections with better details, fixed some small issues. Added doorways with removable doors. added two cathedral rose window wall sections. added a shuttered window wall section. added an elevator floor platform, and ceiling rail. added a new elevator shaft floor section. redesigned decoration pieces to be less fragile. added a new interior column piece. added a broken column piece, and an insert which can be glued into custom broken column pieces. added a hanging chandelier piece, and a wall mounted lamp addon.
UPDATE 5.1: Hotfix, included 3 ground floor sections which can be placed directly on the surface of your table, and fit around the base of the pillars.
UPDATE 5.2: I included an additional version of each wall that has a window on it, with slits cut through the top to allow you to slide window material into the windows. I recommend translucent vinyl, you can print custom window designs onto a vinyl sheet and add them for a fantastic stained glass look.
UPDATE 5.3: I improved the windows cut for adding window panes. I also updated and fixed the ground floor panels, they now work correctly together with the walls. I added a spacer for the ground floor panels, to account for the space inbetween them. I improved the elevator shaft system, adding a ground floor elevator platform, and a ground floor rail. I added new versions of some of the decorations, to make them more useful. I added some sample renders and setup images to show how the walls, elevator, ceiling/floor decor, etc are used. The product listing will now also include said sample renders.
UPDATE 5.4: Many new improvements to the kit have been made. a number of small errors have been fixed, and the geometry of the wall sections and decorations have been better optimized. Beveling has been added in certain places to make supporting easier. The double wall with large gate has been rebuilt to work better, with new decorations. I modeled doors which can be mounted in the double wide doorway as well. This includes a version with a window, and one without. Battle damaged walls have been rebuilt and modified, and now include left and right versions of both window and wall battle damaged versions. New floors have been added, which are much easier to print and are more like the official designs. I have also included battle damaged versions of each, 3 variants each including a corner, an edge, and a damaged version missing just one corner.
