Do you know what sucks the most about having to use crutches? It is impossible to carry a fresh cup of coffee!!! (or any other drink)
Well, this trusty little companion changes that :) Since I am stuck with crutches for 4 weeks it is a huge relief to be able to carry drinks again.

The print-in-place 2-Axis-Gimbal makes sure the cup is aligned with the forces acting on in. And since the surface of the liquid is always perpendicular to those forces, the drink remains level in the cup (even if the cup seems shaky from the outside). This can be seen in the video as well.

The version in the fotos fits a 84mm cup and 20mm crutches. I made versions for 84, 75, 70, 65mm Cups and 20 or 17mm crutches. Just choose the one right for you :)

3D printing settings

This model is an easy print and needs only minimal support. I used small support pillars in the holes for the screw, but if your printer has good cooling, you might get away without them. Otherwise use your favourite print settings and get a fully working gyro straight from the print bed!
