3D model description

Flares worn by Resistance pilots on the leg. Valid for Poe Dameron and other pilots from The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker.

The file contains the model in STL format ready to process with Cura, Slicer or other laminating software and print on a 200 x 200 x 200 mm 3D printer.

It is not necessary to scale the file if it is to be for an adult. If it is for a child perhaps scaling is necessary.

For optimal results it is recommended to post-process the part after printing (sanding, priming and painting).

3D printing settings

We recommend a layer height of 0.12 to 0.24 mm on FDM printers.

Supports are required and a minimum 10% infill is recommended.

The part can be printed vertically by adding a border to improve the hold of the part to the bed, but this is not strictly necessary if the print speed is not very high.

The part has a hole in the center to insert, if desired, an insert thread and screw the flare to the strap that holds it to the leg.
