3D model description

The Sith have a new Dark Lord in their ranks, and its name is
Darth Mewtwo!

Introducing Darth Mewtwo, the newly empowered Dark and Psychic Pokemon. It jumps onto the scene donning custom armour inspired by the look of Darth Maul, with the iconic Dark Type symbol
stamped onto the chest plate. Wielding two lightsabers, any and all Pokemon will faint upon gazing at this dark menace.

This is a re-imagined version of the Pokemon Mewtwo, now a Star Wars themed character. I wanted to do a crossover design and I believe this to be a perfect fit. This is also my first articulated action figure build.

The Darth Mewtwo action figure includes multiple moving joints, two hand variants, multiple armour pieces that either fit directly onto the print or replaces parts (e.g. shins, forearms), and two lightsabers.

This may be a challenging print given how many small parts there are and the orientation of how the parts should be printed.

3D printing settings

Printed on the Ender 3 V2 Neo, sliced in Cura 5.3

Layer Height: 0.16 mm
Wall thickness: 1.2 mm
Infill: 5 - 10%

FDM print only

Highly recommend using brim build plate adhesion.

I recommend printing all parts as they are oriented when loading the STL files into your preferred programs.

All joints and parts should fit together. If they are too loose, try a touch of white glue around the peg hole to apply more friction. DO NOT glue the joints into the parts. If they’re too tight, use an X-acto knife to scrape off a tiny amount of filament around the peg hole wall.

There are extra options for printing the helmet and chest plate, giving you a choice on how you want them fitted onto the body.
