Standing Crescent Moon Desk Shelf Crystal Display Case with Deep Shelves

The Standing Moon Shelf makes a fantastic display case for all your healing crystals, gothic miniatures and other small knick-knacks. It's modeled in the shape of a crescent moon and is deep enough to fit lots of items. Having a flat bottom, you can place it on any flat surface - a desk, side table, mantle - anywhere with a suitable flat surface.

There are numerous benefits to a standing shelf. First and foremost, you don't have to put more nail holes in your walls. Any homeowner can appreciate that! Plus, you never have to worry that your shelf might fall, possibly breaking whatever you've placed on it. As a long-time 3D printing enthusiast, I can assure you the fear is real, and not without some merit!

STANDING CRESCENT MOON SHELF DIMENSIONS - TWO SIZES FITS ALL
We supply two STL files for the shelf. Each one is optimized for a different size print bed.

• Standing Moon Shelf - Small: This file is optimized for standard-size printers (e.g. Ender 3 and Ender 3 Pro) with a bed size of 220x220. Its measurements at 100% scale are:

X = 20.4cm / 8.0in
Y = 21.0cm / 8.3in
Z = 5.1cm / 2.0in

• Standing Moon Shelf - Large: This version is optimized for larger printers with a minimum bed size of 400x400 (e.g. Anycubic Kobra Max). Its measurements at 100% scale are:

X = 34.5cm / 13.6in
Y = 35.6cm / 14.0in
Z = 5.1cm / 2.0in

If your printer measures somewhere below or in between these values, you can always scale the model accordingly. We chose to provide two files because scaling doesn't always give you the best quality print. The closer you can get before (or without) scaling, the better.

Tip: *If you scale the shelf to any other size but want to maintain the depth of 5.1cm (2.0in), do not adjust the Z scale. Leave it at 100%.

The following settings are recommended for structural integrity. You can probably increase the resolution to as high as 0.32 if your printer works well at that layer height. I printed it at a base speed of 100mm/sec, but again, only do what your printer can handle (which is why the recommended settings below are slower).
