Wuben X2 EDC Flashlight to CZ Shadow 2 Pic Rail

The likelihood that anyone out there has the same kickstarted EDC flashlight I have and the same handgun is slim BUT in case someone does here is a thing I am working on. (it might work on other guns though)

I designed this mod to allow me to attach my EDC flashlight to my 9mm CZ Shadow 2. It is designed without the need for picatinny mounting screws so that it can be attached to the handgun and unattached easily. I did this because I have a holster that I really like and it does not allow me to have any attachments to my gun and still be usable.

The downside to this design is that after 10 or so shots (9mm) the flashlight will have slid forward about 10mm. I have yet to be able to make it fall off completely only shift slightly forward. With that said this is a work in progress, if anyone can make it better please do. I have tried making the tolerances tighter which does make it stay in place but makes it near impossible to remove.

The pic rail on this is rounded and designed to make it still comfortable to hold when not attached to a gun. I find the most comfortable way is to put your thumb in the pic rail channel and your index finger on the flashlight button.

Because this mod removes the ability to belt clip the flashlight I suggest printed these two things for backpack and belt mounting:
