3D model description

The idea was to create a game for my kitten. So initially I wanted to do a kind of mouse able to walk even if it had been turned upside down.

As always, if possible, I try to make everything from recycled materials. Then, using the principle of operation of the "BristleBot" (many examples in youtube), I created this species of mouse (although actually reminds me more of a hedgehog ..).

Unfortunately I have to confess that the cat does not seem very interested .. I am convinced that he would have preferred if it had been made ‹with edible material ...

3D printing settings

Materials needed:

- A microswitch 6.2 x 6.2 x 4.1mm (very common, I recovered from an old printer).

- A engine vibration for smartphones: diameter, 6mm x 19mm maximum length (including acentric)

- A paper clip (0.8mm diameter)

- Two battery (type 1.5v LR754)

- Nylon fishing thread

- Double-sided tape

- A piece of doormat

instructions:

- Insert the motor and putting out the wires into the slot

- fold piece of paper clips, and solder it to the microswitch

- Solder a wire of the engine to microswitch

- Insert the microswitch

- Insert and tied into the small holes of the nose and tail a few pieces of nylon thread

- Tighten the two threaded parts in the nose and tail to the right depth, and if you need use glue to lock.

- Cut to fit three pieces of doormat and secure them with double-sided adhesive

good job
