3D model description

I've been using the previously made "Mac Mini Monitor" very useful in cafes and outdoor spaces.

Nine months ago, we received a production request from a manufacturing company after they watched our YouTube video of making the previous Mac Mini Monitor.

The company decided to manufacture and sell the Mac Mini Portable Monitor we designed, and we were responsible for designing a mass-producible product.

However, due to internal issues and unfulfilled promises of the company, the production was eventually halted.

So, based on the data of the Mac Mini Monitors made so far, I will provide the necessary parts information and 3D print data for making the monitor for free for a certain period for subscribers who want to use Mac Mini portably.

The mass-produced Mac Mini that we planned to sell was designed to accommodate a mini keyboard and to be used without external power by self-charging.

However, for DIY Mac Mini Portable Monitor making, the design was modified to be made using only a 3D printer, not an injection product.

You can watch the related video on YouTube.

Here's a list of the related parts:

Display: An 8.9-inch IPS LCD monitor with a 16:10 aspect ratio was used. Panel size: 8.9" (200.3(W)Γ— 132.1(H) Γ— 3.43(D)mm)

Cables: We used a Mini USB (5v) cable for powering the monitor and a standard HDMI cable to transmit the Mac Mini's video to the monitor. The cables were designed with a 90-degree angle for a clean and organized connection.

Keyboard: We used a small-sized Bluetooth keyboard that can be stored inside the Mac Mini. Although it may not be the most comfortable for extended use, it's suitable for quick and simple input tasks.

Other assembly parts: Bolt 1: M3 x 5mm - 4ea ,M3 x 8mm - 2ea ,M3 x 20mm - 7ea

                                Wrench Bolt: M4 x 30mm - 2ea, Nut - 2ea

                                Circular Magnet: βˆ…6 x 3t - 4ea
