3D model description

For my own little workshop I wanted some organizing solution for my sanding discs. I looked online, but all the ones I could find were either not what I wanted, or they used way too much material.

Therefore I decided to design my own set, and while I was at it, I figured I would share it with you guys.

I've created custom ones embossed with the grits I currently have in my workshop, and I also added one without any text, where you could use a label maker for your own grits. If you want any specific grit engraved, feel free to drop me a comment and I'll get back to you!

They can either be stacked or you could print a box to either place in a drawer or hang on the wall. Shown in the picture is two boxes with 5 sandpaper-holders in each.

These can also be used to directly place the sandind disc onto the sander, using the spikes as guides with the holes in the sander.

I am personally going to use them in a box plaed in a drawer, so I don't have to fiddle around with the stack to get the middle one, but I figured the stacking would be a nice bonus if anyone out there prefers it.

I will update with better pictures once I print the whole set for myself.

3D printing settings

The holders are optimized to use as little material as possible. They are designed for 125 mm sanding discs!

Holder:
Material use - approx 20 g each
Print time - approx 3 h 30 min
Layer height - whatever, 0,2 is fine.
No supports, no raft.
I printed mine in PLA, 220C with 60C bed temperature.

The box:
Material use - about 140 g
Print time - about 14 hours
Otherwise same as above.
