3D model description

Huckit Crab, one of the cutest critters in the Super Mario series... but behind those dark, deep-set eyes lies a crustaceous malevolence of king-crab proportions! Don't let his shiny red shell and vibrant yellow feet fool you. His singular claw is sharp enough to snap Mario or any one of his trusty sidekicks in two! But he's sneakier than that. As the name implies, the "Huckit" Crab prefers to hurl sand balls and rocks at our pipe-plumber heros, taking them out from afar whenever possible.

Rumored to be the descendent of the vicious Clawgrip crab boss from NES Super Mario 2, this clever crustacean first appeared in the Nintendo Wii video game, New Super Mario Bros Wii. He was later featured in New Super Mario Bros. U, New Super Luigi U, Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions, Dr. Mario World, and half a dozen editions of the Mario Party series.

Print in Two Pieces or Three
We've provided 4 STL files. They include:

  • Huckit Crab - Eyes
  • Huckit Crab - Body
  • Huckit Crab - Claw
  • Huckit Crab - Body + Claw

From here, you can decide the best way to print him - with two files, or three. You'll need to print the eyes no matter what. You can choose to print the Body + Claw, which requires supports under the claw. Or you can print the Body and Claw separately, then glue the claw into the body. You'll need to print slowly with strong adhesion, maybe even a raft, to hold the claw in place during printing, but if you do, you'll have no scar from supports.

Coloring & Assembly
Huckit Crab is an easy creature to print in 3D. Start out with red for the body and claw, then add a dab of yellow paint (or paint pen) to his shoes. Print the eyes in black, and again use a bit of paint to touch up the whites of his eyes. Glue the eyes into the recessed area of his head, and your Huckit Crab is complete.

DIMENSIONS
At 100% scale, the Super Mario Bros Huckit Crab measures:

X = 4.9m / 1.9in
Y = 8.5cm / 3.3in
Z = 4.7cm / 1.9in
