3D model description

GT2 pulley generator, with this model you can create pulleys with a custom number of teeth with a few clicks.

This project generates the profile of the pulley so you still need to features to it. (holes and other geometry to hold the belt and mount it on the axle) . This gives you greater flexibility in making your custom GT2 pulley.

Warning SolidWorks 2020 (or higher version) is required.

To make your custom teeth pulley follow these steps or check the pictures for more instructions:
1. Open the Pulley_GT2_generator.sldprt file in SolidWorks2020(or higher)
2. Right-click on "Equations" and select "Manage Equations..."
3. On the first row labeled "NumTeeth" on the second column change the value to your desired number of teeth and press "Ok".
4. Click the rebuild button and you are done! :)
Optional: add holes and geometry and modified as you like it.

This is a Solidworks model (.sldprt).
If you do not have access to SolidWorks2020(or higher) and need a custom pulley, check my profile I have a few GT2 pulleys listed, it might be what you need.
If you can't find what you need give me a message and I will make it for you and upload it on my profile.

The generate part is what in shown in the 4th picture.
The first and final images are an example of how you can add geometry to the generated part.
