3D model description

The right foot contains 26 bones, which are divided into three groups: the tarsals, metatarsals, and phalanges. The tarsal bones are the seven bones that make up the ankle and heel region of the foot. The metatarsal bones are the five long bones that make up the midfoot, and the phalanges are the 14 bones that make up the toes.

Some specific bones in the right foot include the calcaneus (heel bone), talus (ankle bone), navicular, cuboid, and cuneiforms (medial, intermediate, and lateral). The five metatarsal bones are numbered one through five, starting with the big toe (hallux) and ending with the little toe. The phalanges are also numbered one through five, starting with the proximal phalanx (closest to the metatarsal bone) and ending with the distal phalanx (closest to the tip of the toe).
