Cell Fender

In Modern Ports, Cell fenders will be much more common than Yokohama fenders.

They are directly connected to the quay wall and a cylindrical buffer is used to cushion the impact energy.

The Cell Fender can be printed in any scale. Depending on the size, the Cell Fender can be glued to the quay wall or attached using screws (not included).

Our advantages

This model is not designed for any specific scale. However, note that the quality of detail varies with scale. The smaller your model, the more detail will be lost.

Any number of copies - Buy the product once and use it for your entire dockside layout - a big advantage, especially with fenders.

Decide for yourself which materials you use for printing. You can use a combination of PLA and TPU to get the most out of the fender features (not a must).

The limits of printing are determined by your 3D printer. The build space of your printer will determine the maximum possible scale.

Modularity

Our models are all coordinated with each other. Any model you use, you can combine with other models to scale.

The initial scales of our files are 1:1 - read: original size. So you can always downscale the files to your desired scale, saving you unnecessary intermediate calculations.

Assembly

No assembly instructions are required for this model. In the product images you can see a schematic drawing, which you can see the correct way of assembly.

Data set consisting of STL and OBJ files.

Not included

To get a realistic look with this product, you'll need to add a chain (to match the scale you want). The Cell fenders are equipped with a breakaway protection, which secures the fender gaps to the quay wall via chains. The corresponding eyelets are included as print files.
