this is the modelling file in solidworks 2021 for :
-8 Pin AVIATION PLUG (8 Pin Female Plug) – GX-16

It is a GX-16 8-Pin Metal Aviation Plug Female Panel Connector. The connector is mostly used to transmit signals or power. This type of connector is used in places where a watertight connection is required, and also in harsh environments. The connector is ideal for panel mounting and has got separate male and female pins

  • it is available in the following file formats:
    1- solidworks 2021 (source files), with all parts included.
    2- STEP file.
    3- STL file (not intended to be 3D printed).

    • this kind of modelling is used as to be included directly in your designs, i.e. if you are working on a design project that contain sockets outputs (of the same kind), you can include this file in your design and hence to estimate and calculate the space needed and the location of the drilled hole for this part.

-NOTE: this part has been modelled using solidworks 2021, so it will NOT work on older versions, older than 2021.

-CAUTION: the modelling of this part has been done manually using Vernier Caliber, and it has an accuracy of about +-0.2 mm.
