3D model description

German version below

Hello,

this is a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4741245

Many thanks for this.

It now fits the Easymeter Q3A and any similar Easymeter relatives, especially for the "Hichi reading head" and the public Info-DSS Interface. The Hichi reading head is an inexpensive reading head for reading out the public Info-DSS interface of the Smart Meter and displaying the whole thing in various Smart Home control centres, e.g. Home Assistant, FHEM, IOBroker etc. or other visualization programs such as Volkszähler.

I have tested it with the WIFI reading head from Hichi, but I assume that his wired ones will also fit.

About the files:

The files with the addition "tested" in the name are printed and can be seen in the picture. Because the whole thing was still a bit weak with the 1.8mm thickness, I drew a reinforced version with 5mm thickness. Also the inner diameter for the reading head was a bit tight with 0.25mm clearance. Therefore, in the reinforced version with 0.5mm clearance.

The reinforced ("verstärkte") version has not yet been printed and tested for fit! But it should actually fit. However, no guarantee. This was my first excursion into CAD.

And you can choose between the version with embossed text or without text.

I can't say anything about the print settings because I didn't print it myself.

Hello,

this is a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4741245

Many thanks for this.

It now fits to the Easymeter Q3A and possibly similar Easymeter relatives, especially for the "Hichi read head" and the freely accessible Info-DSS interface. The Hichi read head is an inexpensive read head for reading the Info-DSS interface of the smart meter and displaying the data in various smart home control panels, e.g. Home Assistant, FHEM, IOBroker etc. or other visualization programs such as Volkszähler.

I have tested it with the WIFI read head from Hichi, but I assume that his wired ones will also work.

About the files: The files with the addition "tested" in the name are printed and can be seen in the picture. Because the whole thing was still a bit wobbly with the 1.8mm thickness, I drew another reinforced version with 5mm thickness. The inner diameter for the read head was also a bit tight with 0.25mm clearance. Hence the reinforced version with 0.5mm clearance.

The reinforced version has not yet been printed and tested for fit! But should actually fit. However, no guarantee. This was my first foray into CAD.

You can also choose between the version with embossed text or completely without text.

I can't say anything about the print settings as I haven't printed it myself.

Have fun with it
