3D model description

This is the 3 piece P51! It is a 3D printed, flying and slingshot powered airplane! Adjust the tabs on the elevator up or down to raise the glide path up or down. The rudder can be adjusted left and right and the ailerons on the wings control the roll of the plane.

The wing and tail slip into the slot and click into place. It isn't designed to come apart.

Add a M3 16mm bolt and three lock nuts to the front for balance. Two more M3 16mm bolts and lock nuts build the trigger unit with the trigger. With a rubber band under the P51's nose the plane will be held securely in the trigger while pulling the rubber band taught, Squeeze the trigger and flight should happen...

If the plane rolls left - then either move the rudder to the right OR move the ailerons in opposite - the left one SLIGHTLY lower and the right one SLIGHTLY higher. This will make the plane roll to the right if you do too much.

If the plane climbs up and stalls then push the elevator SLIGHTLY lower. Make sure both sides are even.

Should the plane dive and not really float, raise BOTH sides of the elevator SLIGHTLY.

If you changed it for the better it should glide pretty far. The opposite also applies...

Have Fun!
