3D model description

Design and manufacturing of a linear actuator ,with a total stroke of (80mm) approximately.

this actuator has been designed using Solidworks 2021, and printed using Creality ender 3 printer.

it uses a common stepper motor (48byj-48-5V stepper motor), it can be used with arduino using the standard stepper.h library.

the STL files are available to be 3D printed, which are:
- H_shape_rail: this one is the rail of the actuator.
- motor_head: is the gear placed directly on the stepper motor
- motor holder: is the part where the motor is placed

3D printing settings

bed temperature : 60-70 c.
nozzle temperature: 190-210 c.
layer height: 0.2 mm.
infill ratio: 20%.
wall count: 3 walls (total wall thickness of about 2 mm).
material: ABS, PETG, PLA, PLA+
