Seventy (70) tons of lasers and armor, the HCR-62 Heavy Crab sports two (2) Donel PPCs, and four (4) Martell Medium Lasers, enough firepower to convince any other mad bastard you find to stay out of your way. The Heavy Crab was designed primarily as a harder hitting commander Mech for its smaller Crab siblings, the all energy weapon loadout makes it an excellent choice of weapons platform for the MechWarrior that isn't expecting any resupply. Factor in its thirteen (13) tons of armor and you have a mech that can stay in the field longer than almost anything put up against it. With its GM280 Fusion and four (4) jump jets, it'll keep pace with most of its contemporaries and even give some angles of attack the enemy may not expect. Just keep an eye on your heat, we couldn't fit that many heatsinks in the damn thing. Oh, and uh, don't get kicked in the legs.
Inspired by BattleTech and MechWarrior models, a original mech model for a Heavy weight class Crab styled 'Mech.
The model is designed to fit in with other minis of tabletop game BattleTech. Some size adjustments may be needed in your printing program, and care should be taken to make sure that some of the stand out details (antenna, and bars) are properly supported for proper printing.
