3D model description

Quick Point Sight V2 (QPS-V2) for 3D printed Nerf blasters.
Updated Version of the original Quick Point Sight (https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/quick-point-sight).

DESCRIPTION
Quick Point Sight V2 is an open sight designed to look a bit like a Military Red dot sight.
It is setup for Nerf blasters which have a large amount of dart drop over distance.
Useful both for teaching kids basic sight adjustment & also for Nerf battles.
Attachment is for Picatinny rail or Rival rail.

DESIGN NOTES
Red dot sights are very affordable but if you are kitting out a number of blasters costs add up.
This is a 3D printed adjustable open sight, setup for the more extreme adjustment range required for Nerf.
This version of the QPS sight has New mechanics for the Elevation adjustment (forward sight post raises or lowers) and has a lower parts count than the original QPS sight.
Very little cleanup of the parts is required off the printer & assembly time is very quick (1-2 mins).

M3 x 30 Socket head Bolt (3x)

3D printing settings

See Images [Print-Settings01 & Print-Settings02] for the recommended Print orientation of parts (for the Body use the Layflat option to get the front angle).
Because of the vertical printing I recommend a fine layer height of 0.16mm (0.20mm is fine also).
For Body part (0.16mm, 3 shells, 15% infill), they do require Supports (touching build plate only, 45 deg pattern angle)
For small parts I've been using a layer height of 0.16mm, 3 shells, 30% infill.
