Post-World War II, while jet aircraft appeared, engines of the type called Turbo Compound Engine that recover exhaust energy output by turbines were used in large aircraft such as DC-7, Constellation and P2V-7.
This type was famous for Curtis-Wright R3350 engine, which incorporated many of the latest features of the time. This model was created as a teaching aid to explain its main features.

 ① Planetary spur gear reduction mechanism with Ball pocket type hydraulic Torque Meter
 ② Cam drive gear + secondary vibration Balance weight (front and rear)
 ③ Steel Crankcase, clamp bolt type Crankshaft
 ④ Machined Cylinder Head Fins, thin sheet metal assembled Barrel Fins
 ⑤ Power Recovery Turbine (PRT) (3 pieces), output recovery gear system with torque converter
 ⑥ 2-speed planetary gear type Supercharger (reproduces 2-speed state)
 ⑦ Method of vaporizing the metered fuel from Carburetor by Impeller
 ⑧ Simplified auxiliary equipment -- Carburetor, Magneto, Distributor, Starter, Propeller
 ⑨ Can be driven by DC motor and finger (accurate assembly required)
 ⑩ Can be disassembled and assembled
