Non-contact single-stage worm gear reducer for 3d printing 3D print model

This is a single-stage reducer. Most parts can be 3d printed. Of course, some parts or components need to be bought on market, such as bearings, screws. There is one worm and gear in this design, so it is a single-stage reducer, and the ratio is 40:1. That means if the input speed is 40 r/min, the output speed is 1 r/min.

This is a non-contact design plan, so you cannot see the input shaft. There are some magnets in the box. And you need to use some magnet too on the motor’s shaft to run the reducer. When you assemble the magnets, the directions are important, refer to the images.

This is the 3d printing version design. We recommend resin material for most parts. For some soft parts, maybe PETG material can work.

STEP format files are included. STEP formats files are ok for 3d printing too. Ignore FBX, OBJ,STL format files, they are only for the platform’s requirement.
