3D model description

The Chevy Big Block (BBC) was the king of the streets in the 60's and early 70's. With large displacements putting out immense power, they were popular on the drag strip, and were perfect for Grandma's grocery-getter.

This file pack contains all the necessary files to build up a stock Chevy Big Block motor. This file pack resembles a base model BBC, with a stock 4bbl Rochester Carburetor and intake manifold, stock exhaust, and snorkel intake. There are over 20 individual files included in this file pack, including optional parts! For stock valve covers, there are 2 options; A smooth valve cover and Stock valve cover. There are also multiple belt & Pulley options to accommodate a Generator, Alternator, or an Alternator with Power Steering!

This file pack contains all necessary base-engine parts for other Scale Auto Model Works SBC engine upgrade packs.

For those that like to wire up their engine, this file pack includes a hollowed distributor, and the engine block and heads already have the spark plug holes modeled in to drastically simplify the wiring process! Simply cut the 32 AWG wires of your choice, glue them into the distributor, then run them into the block! The block is hollow, allowing excess wire to be simply pushed in! No need for trimming to proper lengths.

All files are optimized for printing. Many, such as the block, oil pan, and valve covers, are hollowed out to minimize resin use.
