3D model description

If you need to get at the internals of the CR-X, you really need to tip it on its side and this can put a lot of pressure on the Y-Axis stepper. I designed these blocks to raise the whole machine so that the stepper or the housing doesn't rest on the workbench. You need two base stands and one top stand. I've included the Inventor files in case anyone wants to adapt them or see how I created them.

It might be an idea to add some rubber feet to reduce slipping, but it's not absolutely necessary.

Sadly, because the world has become a litigious place, I'm adding the disclaimer that this thing works for me, but you should use it at your own risk.

I presume this will also be fine for the CR-10s Pro and the CR-20. I haven't checked the dimensions of their bases, but they appear to be identical.
