3D model description

This revised version of my old Autopistol STL has some subtle changes that I like. I also added a few variants with different hands attached for easy conversions. In a grimdark science fantasy universe such a weapon as this might be found in the hands of chaotic cultists, undercity gang members, Imperial officials, militia troopers, organized criminals, xeno cultists, merchants and their guards, household troops, and many more. For physically converting or digitally remixing miniatures this one pistol has many potential uses.

I made some changes to my existing Autopistol Model 302 STL. I took most of my inspiration for the original design from a couple images I found online. I liked the look overall, though I felt like the end of the barrel was maybe inclined to break off if dropped. So for this version I changed the proportions so that the muzzle break in front of the weapon connected very slightly to the angled front of the forward handgrip on the pistol. Looking at other images online, I also decided to shorten the pistol's ammo magazine. Previously the magazine extended below the pistol grip, but now it stops just short of being equal in length to the pistol grip. The width and height of the pistol remain the same, but I shortened the overall length from 12mm to 11.5mm which I think makes it scaled a bit better for most plastic, resin, and STL miniatures out there.

Here's a link to the original version.

This model would not have been possible without the talent and generosity of Imperial Prapor. Below is a link to the hand he sculpted meant to hold pistols just like this one. I recommended it.
