3D model description

Please note: .3mf file has settings for Yousu brand TPU. Your TPU may vary, this is the first kind I got. Be careful of your build plate, use glue or painter's tape or a textured build plate, this stuff is hard to get off and this is a lot of material attached to the build plate.

100% infill.

Do you love roller skating? Do you know anyone who loves roller skating? Are you and your friends tired of flimsy toe guards that can't stand up to the rigors of the real world? Are you afraid to do a knee slide (with a knee pad of course) on asphalt because it may rip through your toe guard and wreck your beautiful pricey roller skate?

Or are you a printer/seller who needs a product with no licensing fees? (and you don't mind working with TPU). I don't have time to sell but skaters need good toe guards!

Here are some very rugged toe guards. The last picture is after 45 hard toe drags EACH on rough asphalt. I was trying to destroy them. They finally tore but this is really excessive use and lasted much, much longer than a hefty leather toe guard. I was able to still safely skate home and there was no damage to my skate. These are made for Bont Parkstar roller skates which have a wide toe. If there's interest I can remix for more typical narrow toe roller skates.

Step file included for remixing. Check out the parameters to easily change dimensions (this isn't perfect but can do some basic changes). Free for personal, commercial use, remixing, whatever you want to do with it. If you sell it please post your make and if you have a great product please share a link to your store.

There are small holes to push through leather rivets. You can get a full kit on Amazon with instructions. See pictures for how they fold. Once the rivets are secure take off the toe stop, push the stem through the large hole in the guard, reattach the toe stop, then put the laces through the upper holes as shown.
