3D model description

Chris was born in Des Moines on 24 February 1973. He is known to have played kicker for the Wayne State University football team before joining the band. Fen joined Slipknot in April 1997, replacing Brandon Darner, as he had replaced another percussionist, Greg Welts. Brandon gave the mask to the new member and Chris was in the band until 14 March 2019.

The departure came after he filed a lawsuit against his bandmates over the lack of proper payment for band activity while on tour. The percussionist accused his bandmates of shady earnings of which he was unaware. Thereafter, on March 18, as the lawsuits ended, it was announced on the band's official website that Chris was no longer a member of Slipknot.

On October 25, 2019, he took part as drummer along with Dee Snyder of Twisted Sister on vocals and Mick Mars of Mötley Crüe on guitar in the song "These Old Boots" from former Motörhead guitarist Phil Campbell's solo album "Old Lions Still Roar".
