In order for it to work, you have to use a filament holder that's different to the stock one, as otherwise the spool gets in the way. I used this one: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/tool/sovol-sv06-dual-spool-holder-easy2print .
Both the 3 and 6 sharpie blender fit, although depending on the orientation one or two of the sharpie ports may be blocked. Still seems to work pretty well!
Edit: Finally got it running, I've included photos of some prints that I made using it!
I've made it so that it can print in place, with no supports. It probably doesn't need much infill, although I printed with 15% just to give it some extra strength. PLA has worked well enough.
