3D model description

I love having birds visit my garden so like many other people, have several bird feeders. The problem is, they make a mess on the floor where foods has fallen from the feeder. At least half of what was put in the feeder was being knocked to the floor.

I designed a detachable tray that would catch the excess being knocked from the feeder so it could be poured back into the feeder, thus saving waste and mess.

only 3 smalls screws are needed to attach the base section to the feeder then the tray will simply screw on and off as required.

** Please note, this is only the tray under the feeder and not the feeder itself **

3D printing settings

I printed mine in Green 'glow-in-the-dark' PLA Pro from Ziro (Amazon)
Printed at 0.2 layer height with a 0.4 line width.
I used 30% infill and 3 walls to give it some rigidity and prevent warping in the sun.
