3D model description

this mount makes it possible to mount a tracer unit on your PDP, that can also simulate gun flashes making also usable with normal paint at low light conditions it doesn’t have to be pitch black. but I don’t think there is a tat you will see it’s effects on a open field in the middle of the day. but in a building this should be a different story even during the day. but of course it will be more noticeable how darker it’s the gun flash simulation works on the fact that it lightens up the gas cloud a paintball marker makes. so the more air volume is going out of the marker and how more it forms a cloud the bigger the blast effect is. note this really a short blast. so if you blink you will mis it haha. and some times cameras happen to mis the shot. but well that is why you have more than 1 rounds haha…

tracer options for 50 cal
you got for what I have tested now 3 options for the 43 cal markers

the ACETECH Blaster is 32mm OD. and can only trace green glow in the dark rounds, and make orange colored gun flashes (works for 43 cal and 50 cal)

the ACETECH Bifrost is 30mm OD. and and can only trace green glow in the dark rounds, and make a wide spectrum of colored gun flashes (only works for 43 cal!)

the Umarex T4E X-tracer 50 haves a OD 32mm
this one is very similar to the Acetech Blaster. but the threads a lager so it stronger mount.
and can only trace green glow in the dark rounds, and make orange colored gun flashes (works for 43 cal and 50 cal)

compatibility note
make sure you select the right marker model since they all need to be costume made so that barrel alines with the tracer properly!
and select the correct tracer model!

so this one is for the Umarex T4E Walter PDP compact 4”
and Umarex T4E XT50 X-tracer 50

keep in mind that some holsters might not work with this tracer unit and the mount for it

also keep in mind that your safety “barrel plug” or barrel sock works with this set up

I will make a TIPX style of barrel plug that will fit this tracers and add it to the collection.

Materials needed
2x M5 grub screw 10mm long
1x O-ring 1mm CS, 21mm OD

3D printing settings

print settings:
0.2 layer hight will work fine. but using a 0.16 will give you a nicer print
you can use the 8 layer walls and a 40% infill.
but personally I moved a bit over to solid prints just to give it more strength in case things go wrong on the field…

I recommend that you use the orientation I have placed the files in. it’s true it cost more supports this way but you will have good threats and that is want matters in the end.
