Scala dei Turchi, Realmonte - Sicily, Italy

The Scala dei Turchi is a white cliff that rises above the sea along the coast of Realmonte, in the province of Agrigento, Sicily. It has become a tourist attraction for its unique shape and color, and for its popularity in the novels featuring the detective Montalbano written by the Sicilian writer Andrea Camilleri. The cliff is made of a white rock called marl, which has been sculpted and smoothed by the wind and the sea. It looks like a giant staircase of natural stone. From the top of the cliff, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Agrigento coast. The name Scala dei Turchi means “Stair of the Turks”, and it comes from the past raids of pirates from North Africa and Turkey, who used to find shelter in this area.

You can use every configuration you like, I printed mine with:

• Material: VOXELAB PLA, white.

• Nozzle Diameter: 0.4mm

• Layer Height: 0.2mm

• Infill: 10% (You can print without infill too)

• No Supports, just a brim.

• What will I receve?

Let's start by saying that you will have 2 versions of the Scala, the compact and the extended one, the extended one is just longer from the back.
Buying the Scala dei Turchi you will receve:
1. An High Resolution full size Scala dei Turchi (both compact and extended versions)
2. A magnet size High Resoluton model.
3. 2 keychain size models with a base, one with a split ring hole and one without.

• In the photos I see in this page the keychain seems to have an extra hole, why?

Actually that extra hole is not present in the model uploaded here on the site, I realized too late that that hole was too small and I had to pierce it to fit the metal ring. In the model uploaded here the hole is bigger and the ring fits perfectly.
