Make a Toy Freight Train with Locomotive, Caboose and Gondolas with Intermodal Container Cargo! N Scale sized. Both Fastened and Removable Couplers!

This is the 40' Intermodal Gondola Train with Locomotive, Caboose and three versions of a Gondola car: Full Side, One Cut per Side and Two Cut per Side. As well as three versions of Cargo Containers in both the 20' and 40' lengths. This allows to mix and match many colors and types of freight cars from just a few designs. Included are the engine and a caboose - naturally! The locomotive is a DRS 6-6-1500 and a Wide Vision Caboose to bring up the rear.

You can print as many freight cars as you like and mix colors and types for a lifetime of fun!

Print your own N Scale Model Toy Train! Print "wheels" and couplers to use as a child's toy with two kinds of toy couplers included. One is harder to separate the cars by needing to loosen the screw holding the car together, this is to reduce any choking risks for very small children. While the other allows the coupling and uncoupling of the various cars more easily by turning the "wheels" 90 degrees to one side, then slipping the coupler off or on the knob.

This version uses a M3 16mm screw to hold the "wheels" as well as the body and cargo load securely together. I prefer Allen Key M3 16mm screws as they are harder for a child to find the right tool to remove the smaller parts themselves (The 2.5mm Allen Key.).

This is made for a FDM printer using 0.16 layer height. The support designs have a small clearance gap between the support and the car. So if you use a larger layer, the support may print attached, Included are the same designs without supports. Not designed to be resin printed, but maybe they work.
