3D model description

A collapsing Light up saber which will be interchangeable with all design versions I come up with

This is the Rings version

Base model can be found here with other variant designs https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/light-up-collapsing-saber-base-model

Print Settings

1.Supports are needed on most parts, i've used organic and snug @300%
2.To print the blade segments I have found success printing them with inner and outer brims
3.When printing the blade segments make sure your line width in cura is set to 0.5mm and extrusion width is set to 0.5mm in prusa slicer for perimeters
4.Make sure the segments are 2 perimeters thick
5.For the casing more walls are always better

Post processing

1.Some of the tabs may need to be trimmed a bit i used a flush cutter
2.It is designed with very tight tolerances so some trimming and sanding may be necessary depending on your printer
3.The light I designed this for can be found here https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B7HNQ8FH?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
4.A piece of scotch tape on the bottom of the blade segments can fix them slipping out of the previous one.
Designing your own

I have included the Blender file to make your own version
Use detail cutout whole casing as a Boolean to cut out your added parts so they do not interfere with the original design
