i'd like to introduce you to one of my inventions: cumA. these are construction shapes that can be assembled by bringing them close together. i've invented (or reinvented, i don't know) this system of magnets that attract each other. this way, you don't have to worry about the direction of assembly.
this kit includes the following shapes:
the cube, can be assembled along 3 axes
a plate, used to assemble the others (a floor, for example)
the wall has two magnets in each direction of the two axes
the wall corner, makes the angle between two walls
the low wall, the wall cut in two
the corner, is a slope
the point, is a pyramid
the corner of the pyramid, to go into the corner of a pyramid
So much for the first salvo.
the cache is in 5 copies because the different brands of printers don't all have the same construction tolerances. the larger the number, the smaller the diameter of the cylinder. for example, on a prusa mini, the printer I tested, you have to use cache 00 but on my cr10s pro it's more like 30. so I think everyone will be happy. to start printing the shapes, you'll need to choose one, the point for example, and print each mask to test it. it has to fit tightly so that it doesn't come off, but it has to fit. also, to make the mask fit into its housing, you need to use a flat thing like a reusable cap. don't press your finger on the mask to risk deforming it, it's only 0.6mm. it's possible to glue it, but be careful not to stick the magnet.
the printing parameters I've used now. 2 perimeters, 4 layers, 7% gyroid or cubic filling(important to be able to put two cubes end to end on another fixed one), 0.2mm layer height. tested with petg and pla+, the latter has the advantage of being lighter as well as cleaner for group printing. I only used prusa slicer
you don't need to use supports to print, the magnet housings print on 3 axes and also at 45°.
the plate is printed magnet down
wall prints on one flat side
the corner of the wall is a bit special, it's printed on the face that makes the angle
the corner can be printed on the flat face
the corner of the pyramid is printed on the magnet
the magnets I used are 10mm*2mm cylindrical ones I found on amazon.
I'd like to add one more thing to the license: if you print in increments of 100 shapes, not including the cache, it would be nice to make a donation. I have a job but the price I'm asking is inconsistent with the unlimited number you can print: 20centimes d'euro per shape doesn't seem exaggerated to me. of course I won't go and check that you respect this but if I have to convince you I can say that I'd like to make a living from what I create. i have a facebook group "schémA" where i'm thinking of organizing this donation system, but i don't know how at the moment. to join the community i'd like to create around my invention, please fill in the group questionnaire, which will limit the number of people who get lost. preferably in french, otherwise in english.

if you have any questions, remarks, doubts or a little itch you have my group or here.
the possibilities of this game are huge!
here's hoping you'll soon be addicted to the sound of cumA assembly.
