3D model description

A proverb: "If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime."

Alright, how to make your own hydra armor.

Tools needed:
Blender: https://www.blender.org/
Blenderkit: https://www.blenderkit.com/
An Armor Plate this one comes from CRYPTEKNONAME: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/tool/canoptek-knight-cerastus

Tutorial
1. Split the armor using lycheslicer. The simpler the mesh is the better.
2. Load up the piece in Blender.
3. Subdivide the faces that you want scales on or the whole mesh.
4. Use the mask tool and cover up areas that will not have scales.
5. Open up blendkit add-on and search for scale.
6. Carefully apply the scales.
7. Save the file as a blend file. This forces the object to have scales.
8. Export the mesh as an stl.
9. Next open it up in your slicer program.
10 Merge your armor together and the armor is done.

FAQ
Q: What is in the download?
A: The armor in the first picture.

Q: Where is the torso?
A: It can be found in the link for CRYPTEKNONAME's work.

Q: Why is the model description a simple tutorial?
A: Upload speeds are painful on cults. Scaled models tend to have huge file sizes. I use 3D modeling as a means of kitbashing. I like the uniqueness that my models have.

Q: Will you upload more parts of the Knight in the photos?
A: No.

Q: Why are your files so large? Have you tried reducing the number of faces?
I just learned how...
