3D model description

This Pirate Snub-fighter (R-41 Starchaser) Sci-fi Vehicle Set is intended for use with a 3D Printer to create a physical model of the asset.

As such, this asset just contains 18 STL files (128MB) that will allow you to print the parts necessary to build this starfighter model kit.

Also included are a number of promotional shots, both renders of the CG asset and photographs of the printed model prototype, intended to assist you in your building of the asset and illustrating clearly where all the parts need to go.

This spacecraft model design was inspired by the Pirate Starfighters that appeared in the Star Wars TV show The Mandalorian Season 3. I have created the most accurate representation of this vehicle possible given the limited reference available at this time, that being primarily screengrabs from the show, and the concept art featured in the show's end credits. As such, this model may not be entirely accurate to the screen used asset, and creative license has been used where reference for an area just isn't available. However it is still most likely the most accurate model of this vehicle currently around, and painstaking efforts have been made to make this model as accurate as possible. But at the end of the day, this is my interpretation of this ship.

The native scale of this model is intended to be 1:18 scale, which means this thing is pretty big, The final model at native scale is well over 30 cm long, and will fit in with vehicles intended for use with 3.75 inch action figures. The classic Star Wars action figure scale. So this model should not look out of place beside an official The Vintage Collection vehicle collectible.

I hope you enjoy, and have lots of fun with it.

3D printing settings

Optimised for resin 3D printing, though should work fine with FDM too. Final object well over 30cm long.

There is some fine detail and small components within the model, so the finer most accurate printer settings would be ideal to ensure you capture all that lovely detail, but obviously you need to balance that with unmanageable print times, so try and find a good balance.
