IF YOU WANT TO MAKE YOURSELF THE PLANT GROWING PODS, USING THE NATURAL MEDIA ... AS COCONUT FIBER, WOOD CHIPS, PERLITE ... OR A MIXTURE OF TWO OR MORE MATERIALS... YOU CAN USE OUR DESIGN, THE MANUAL PRESS FOR PODS GROWING MEDIA.

AS I READ MORE ABOUT GROWING MEDIA FOR HYDROPONICS, I REALIZE THAT BEST MEDIA IS THE ONE COMBINING ADVANTAGES OF TWO OR MORE NATURAL MATERIAL... IN ORDER TO OBTAIN THE PERFECT GROWING MEDIA FOR PLANTS IN A HYDROPONIC GARDEN.

YOU CAN BUILD PODS WITH A DIAMETER OF 42, 55 AND 58MM. ( LIGHT VERSION USE 42MM PODS; AND THE ORIGINAL VERSION USE 58 AND 55MM.) LENGTH OF THE PODS IS ADJUSTABLE... USING THE LOCK NUTS TO LIMIT PLUNGE MOVEMENT.

BASIC STEPS TO USE THE MANUAL PRESS:

CONNECT THE COVER TO THREADED HOUSE.

DEPOSIT THE PODS MEDIA ( THE MATERIAL/MIXTURE OF MATERIALS YOU DECIDE TO BUILD THE PODS) INTO THE THREADED HOUSE.
IS BEST IF YOU TRY TO CONTROL THE QUANTITY OF MATERIAL YOU ADD. THIS IS THE WAY YOU CONTROL THE DENSITY OF THE GROWING PODS.

PUSH IT WITH THE MANUAL PLUNGE.

CONNECT THE PLUNGE... AND THREAD IT IN... THE LOCKING NUTS WILL RESTRICT THE MOVEMENT OF THE PLUNGE WHEN IT REACH DESIRE DIMENSION.
ADJUST THE LOCKING NUTS TO CONTROL LENGTH.

DO TESTS... UNTIL YOUR PODS ARE COMING OUT AT THE LENGTH AND DENSITY YOU WANT IT!

A VERSION OF THE PLUNGE WILL ACCEPT A PIN, IN ORDER TO IMPRINT A HOLE IN TO THE GROWING MEDIA - HOLE DIAMETER 10MM - DEPTH - 20MM.
