3D model description

The Filament Scrap Box 3D model is a convenient and practical solution for organizing and storing filament waste during 3D printing projects.

With four easy-to-print pieces that snap together and stay securely in place through friction, assembly is a breeze.

There are name tags for different filaments, allowing for easy identification and organization. Additionally, there is an empty name tag included, enabling customization for specific filament types.

3D printing settings

All parts can be printed without support.
The bin model itself can be printed in vase mode.
All parts are best printed with a line width of 0.8.
I printed the parts at a layer height of 0.3

Tip: For multicolor prints, add a color change. This can be done by pausing the print and swapping the filament.
In Prusa Slicer is a built-in function called 'color change' that automatically pauses the print at the designated point.
